Aluminium welding

ALUMINIUM WELDING

We offer different welding methods depending on the nature of the components or surface. Regardless of the welding method, the surfaces to be welded must first be degreased and the oxide film removed. The metal surface is degreased with solvents.

Due to its low strength and high plasticity, pure aluminum is used relatively infrequently. The most commonly used alloys are duralumin and silumin.

Sheet aluminum up to 1 mm thick is welded without chamfering, the edges are chamfered over it. If possible, we weld parts up to 25 mm thick without preheating. If necessary, we preheat parts thicker than 25 mm to a temperature of 300–400 ° C, siluminous castings to a temperature of 250–300 ° C.
